How to create a new Fund

The package comes with a default Unrestricted as well as a Restricted Fund records. Here's how you can add your own Funds. These typically correspond to the name in your general ledger, so please ask your Financial/Accounting department for guidance on naming.

Select the Funds tab from the + button on the tab bar

Click New

Click New

Give the Fund a name. Be sure that the Active box is checked. Inactive Funds can't be added to new Opportunities.

You can make this the default fund if you wish.

You can associate a Fund with a Campaign, however this will not make it the default selection for that campaign.

When done, click Save.
