Managing Event Registrations/Temporary Contacts (copied)

Much like regular donations, Click & Pledge will create temporary contacts for Event Registrations, here's how to find them and process them.

Remember Auto-responders and opportunities won't fire or be created until the Temp Contact is processed.

Navigate to the Event Management Tab

Note- the registrations will count even un-processed registrations

Even if the opportunity and contacts have not been created the Event Management page will show the registration

Click Registrations

The lack of a contact associated with Registrants & Attendees

If you have Registrants and Attendees who do not have an associated contact, this is a good indicator that there's a temporary contact that needs to be processed

Click the Manage Temporary Contacts button

Click the Manage Temporary Contacts button

Select the Temporary Contact to process

Click the first Name of a Temporary Contact

Process the Temporary Contact

This will open up the usual Temporary contact processing screen where you can find partial matches, create a new contact or select one manually

 

Then Click 'Process'

Note: The opportunity and Autoresponders will fire at this point.

If you return to the Event Registrations there should now be a contact associated

Switch over to the C&P Payments App.

Select C&P Settings, Select the Notification Tab, choose the Task type (4) and email address and a short message to send.

Don't forget to hit Save (6)

If for some reason the Contact didn't map properly you can associate it manually

Click the Registrant (or Attendee) Name (not the Edit Icon)
