Declined Credit Cards and Fraud Prevention

Sometimes reusing the same credit card with different email addresses or different credit cards from a single location can lead to the unfortunate situation where a donor is completely unable to process transactions.

Here's how you can whitelist a donor's IP address and email address so they can successfully process their transaction.

Switch to the C&P Payment-as-a-service app

View declined transactions

View declined transactions

Go to the Transactions Tab and select the Declined transactions and hit GO!

Click the Order number of a transaction

This will open up the order details so you can see a bit more details about who made the transaction and you can reach out to them to provide assistance.

Login to https://portal.clickandpledge.com then click Account Info -> 3rd Party --> Fraud Service

Enter the IP and Email address and hit Submit

We don't recommend turning completely off Fraud services EVER! This leaves you liable for fraudulent transactions, and hackers have been known to attempt 1000s of credit cards in an hour when they target an organization.
