In KELL360 acknowledgements and mail merges happen in Drawloop, a third party app that is part of the KELL360 configuration. Drawloop greatly improves on Salesforce's native merge capabilities by reducing the number of clicks required to do a simple or mass merge. Below, we will discuss the two preconfigured DDPs that come with your instance, Individual Acknowledgement and Contact Profile. DDP stands for Dynamic Document Package. This is the set of templates, data, delivery methods, and actions, that make up a given mail merge scenario.
This DDP contains a preconfigured template for an acknowledgement letter for donations from individuals. Delivery options include downloading word documents, downloading PDFs, mass merge, and merge and email. When the letter is generated, it will update the Acknowledgement Status and Acknowledgement Date field on the Opportunity. This DDP can be used to generate letters one at a time from a button on the Opportunity record or to generate a mass merge of letters from a Opportunity listview
This DDP contains a preconfigured template for a Contact Profile report, including key information about the contact, relationships, and activities. Delivery options include downloading word documents or downloading PDFs. This DDP can be used to generate reports one at a time from a button on the Contact record.
Additional documentation about Drawloop and creating and managing DDPs can be found on Drawloop's support site.
